Making electronic, or nowadays digitally generated music, is a bit different from playing an old-fashion instrument. There are so many options. You need to find rules.
And now imagine you are a notorious rulebreaker. You get the picture.
When i started making music in 1989, the first thing i wanted to do was breaking all rules and inventing something new. Which was sort of impossible or even silly to think maybe, the central element of music is a communicative one. If you change the language, no one will understand it.
It was a very interesting process of finding out the do´s and the don´ts. And it was a waste of time, doing it all from scratch. But it was a very thorough lesson.
I am seeing things partially different now. I hope you can enjoy that view.
